Doflamingo is a very tall (slightly taller than Jugo, who is the tallest Naruto character whose height is known), blond-haired, very lean and muscular man with tan skin who is thin for his height. He generally dresses in flamboyant clothes. In reference to his animal theme, the flamingo, his clothes are brightly colored, with his bright pink feather coat most distinctly of all. Doflamingo sports a pair of curved, thin white sunglasses. He also walks with an odd, bow-legged waddle (though he does not always walk like this), which is also a reference to his animal theme. When he was young, he wore a white shirt with red stripes, a green belt, and orange pants with white stripes. He also wore black dress shoes that are somewhat pointed. He is also seen often, if not always, smiling. After the coming home to Suna, Doflamingo's outfit is somewhat less elaborate, wearing a plain, open shirt that has small, dark Jolly Rogers as cufflinks, a different belt, and zebra-striped pants. However, he still wears his trademark sunglasses which have changed from purple to red lenses and dress shoes. He sometimes drapes his feathered coat on his shoulders instead of leaving his arms in the sleeves. Also, he wears a golden hoop earring on each ear.
Personality:
Doflamingo has a unique laugh, being "Fuffuffuffuffuffuffu", or in characterized English, "Heh heh heh heh". Interestingly, when he laughs his mouth is wide open.
Doflamingo is one of the most arrogant and carefree shinobi in the world. He seems to have a penchant for dramatic phrasing, as well as a habit of exaggerated posing when giving declarations. He also appears to fear nothing and no one, as he openly taunts people with great power levels, sits on the table during important meetings and shows only gleeful interest at the thought of war.
He also has an odd habit of sitting in strange positions, like on the back of chairs, on tables, on barrels, and even on a pile of bodies in the middle of a war zone and on top of a wall. He is also completely calm and cool-headed in most situations; even when attacked with what would be lethal blows, he simply dodged away casually while continuing to have his conversation.
Doflamingo has a complete and utter lack of fear and doubt, going as far as to rob Nobles of their tributes, so he could blackmail the government. He has never been seen looking with any feeling other than amusement by any turn of events regardless of whom they affect. Only on rare occasions does he let go of his trademark smile, such as frowning in annoyance at being summoned to places he does not want to go to, and when attacked by opponents with far greater strength than him. However, these moments were short-lived, as Doflamingo would usually just grin again.
Doflamingo likes to toy around with his opponents and victims in a sadistic and cruel way and also possesses an extremely bloodthirsty mentality. He also believes in the existence of an inherent cruelty in all human beings regardless of personality that is brought by the excitement of seeing blood and death. Also, Doflamingo regards those weaker than him as mere pawns rather than comrades.

History:
Doflamingo was born in Sunagakure 41 years ago, the son of a a wealthy Suna nobleman and a woman from Konoha. His mother died when he was born. While he grew up, he always wanted to be free and do whatever he wanted. He told himself that when he had enough power, he would create a ''New World'', a place where everyone was free. He had many dreams and ambitions that he believed that he could accomplish. He first realised how talented he was while he was in the Ninja Academy. The soon-to-be Genin were instructed to spar with each other using whatever jutsu and skills that they knew. Doflamingo, without even intending to, killed most of his classmates in an attempt to showcase his abilities. After this, he was kicked out of the academy and therefore, never rose beyond the Academy Student rank. Instead, he was forced to travel around the world and find people who were willing to teach him how to use ninjutsu, genjutsu and the five basic elements. To travel the world, he built his own ship and gathered a large amount of crew members to join him. Each of them had unique abilities that would help Doflamingo on his travels. He became wealthy by looting the ships of other seafarers and raiding islands. He amassed a large amount of infamy and gained a reputation as a dangerous man who you did not want to mess with. He was also active in the realm of criminal underworld brokering (including slavery, and production and distribution of weapons of mass destruction), using the alias Joker. Eventually, he had to leave his life of piracy behind, as he was becoming a huge target for many nations across the world. After mastering some of the basic skills, he returned to Suna and decided that he was going to learn puppetry, which was becoming a quite popular skill in the village. He was trained by the leader of Suna's Puppet Brigade, Chiyo. Later, Doflamingo met Sasori, who allowed him access to three of his puppets, Crow, Black Ant and Salamander. After some time, Doflamingo grew bored of Suna and joined Konohagakure, where his mother was from.

Doflamingo created a summoning contract with the Frigatebirds after meeting one on his travels.
He carries a katana on his back that is buried inside his large pink coat. Only the handle is usually visible. He uses it when he is out of chakra or all of his puppets are destroyed. Doflamingo also keeps other items in the thick coat, such as everyday items such as writing materials and drinks, and scrolls for summoning puppets. He also specialises in Genjutsu, allowing him to perform all genjutsu techniques with one handseal
