Madara has been beaten over and over throughout the war arcs lols. Lee cut him in half, Gai blew off his whole left side, Tsunade broke his susano'o, the kages blasted his edo form, Sasuke cut him in half, Minato took his gudo damas, Hashirama defeated him over and over even in edo tensei form, Nagato used up his rinne tensei and it was through Orochimaru and Kabuto that he was revived, Obito took the bijuu consciouses and Yin Kurama, as well as his eye, it goes on and on. Were it not for all the powers he stole, Izuna's, Hashirama's, Obito's, the gedo mazou's, the juubi/bijuus, shinju's and Kaguya's, he would have been dead long ago.

I'm not saying he is a bad villain. He's a terrific villain, but it takes a sound mind to consistently wield the power he possesses. Did Naruto defeat Obito by subjugating everyone and everything he had? No, he worked together with the alliance and they helped him with their own power.

Yes one piece > naruto ( only in my opinion, not a statement of fact ) but that's not to say naruto is shit. What's happening with madara has been foreshadowed for a number of chapters now, this isn't a surprise. If the delivery feels rushed to you, just wait for it to happen in the anime, I'm sure it will be as long and needlessly drawn out as possible for you then
