Hints
Assuming Doflamingo had Rocinante eat the "Ope Ope" fruit (assuming he didn't have a DF at the time), he'd need to go to Mariejois to use the national treasure.

Law was going to die in 3 years.

The first thing he mentions is the ability to transplant personalities, not immortality which I thought may be hinting at something.

There's probably a World Noble who holds power and authority over all other World Nobles; a leader if you will. So we have:

  • Rocinante with Ope Ope No Mi.
  • Law that will die in 3 years.
  • An important World Noble figure.

What if Doflamingo was planning:

  1. To go to Mariejois with Ope Ope No Mi user (Rocinante) to swap "Law's" personality with an important "World Noble".
  2. Law (as an important World Noble) reinstates Doflamingo back as an official World Noble and no longer a fugitive.
  3. Once he becomes an official World Noble, he gets Rocinante to give him Immortality and Law can stay in the body of a World Noble while the former "World Noble" is trapped in Law's dying body.
  4. Doflamingo can then use the National Treasure once immortal and I'd assume Law (as a Noble) would be in position to massacre whomever he willed alongside Doflamingo projecting their hatred throughout the world.

Law's soul swap was mainly used for comical reasons during PH. But I would love to see it being used for something more along the lines of espionage.

With a good liar or actor that ability would be even better than Bon Clay's DF.

Imagine Nico Robin in the body of some kind of high ranking person and wrecking shit up from the inside.

That ability would be immensely useful in a war. Swapping people with their allies, and striking while they're confused and in a body they can't use the powers of.

This won't going to happen acc. to DDs words about Controling world with use of ope ope no mi.
