[Spoilers] Doflamingos eyes

Usually one-shot cover stories arent of much importance but occasionally some plots or characters are revealed or hinted at in them. In 794 cover doflamingo gives his shades to a real flamingo but we see him STILL covering his eyes with one hand and using his puppet master move with another. Is Doflamingo blind? Does he have sharingan?!? Why are his eyes being so carefully hidden? Previously I'd have said it was just coincidence, but this cover page is pretty compelling evidence that there's a secret about his eyes.

It's like Kakashi's mask, it's secret but there's nothing like a Sharingan there.

There is no secret. And same apply to zoro, they both don't have any special eyes. It's just how creators want their characters to be. It not like this is the first manga where characters are shown like this and even they show their eyes, it will just be a normal plain eye, not a special one.

That's because of his shades. The fire was just a reflection.

It is curious as to why Oda keeps hiding it.

Ohhh I see what you were saying, but it's definitely his shades. You can see the outline of the shades' drawing going past the side of his face. That's way too big to be an eye socket.

I do think one of them is damaged though.

Now you're thinking! But wait...does the tiny doflamingo also wear shades??? And he is the one with sharingan right???

Also I've seen a few people think he's blind in one eye. Thats what I believe is most likely but for I was more looking for plot related reasons why Oda might hide something like that.
