Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the entire reason Law teams up at Luffy so that they stand a chance against Doflamingo? I'm pretty sure Law has a line somewhere that goes something like "we might have a chance if we fight together". I'm pretty sure Law would lose 1 on 1. Still we don't know for sure what Doflamingo's power is yet so maybe it's something Law's power would have an advantage over. We'll just have to wait and see.

Only person we have even seen do the tiniest thing to Doflamingo is Kuzan, a former admiral.

Anyways he can't beat Doflamingo, even Law seemed scared of him. I can see Doflamingo being the villian for another 2-3 arcs before luffy takes him out (barely).
