Doesn't Minato Suck?

If Minato didn't have flying thunder god wouldn't he suck? He has shown no attacks over A grade. His only attack shown is a rasengan. His rasengans are nowhere near Naruto's level. He just has a basic enlarged rasengan which isn't even upto odama level. All his feats are based around his teleporting mark. Teleporting attacks to defend. Teleporting himself to attack and evade. Apart from that he has nothing to show except for demon seal and some nice seals he learnt from his wife.

Mind you he does achieve a lot with that teleport. If someone like Sakura or Kakashi learnt it then they would be just as good, if not better than the forth.

Although I agree Minato fundamentally is probably still an epic ninja.. After all he trained kakashi and was trained by Jiraiya. Only ninja I think that is completely fodder without abilities is Obito.. Proven when he lost Kamui

Yes but it is a part of his arsenal there is no point of strippin abilites from characters.

Minato is just a normal ninja but rare genius who learned other forbidden clan techniques as if it was nothing

- Learned Senju Tobirama's FTG without even meeting him at all and even completed it, developed variants of it. Tobirama's technique could have probably been kept secret in the Hokage scroll, so it's not something someone could have learn that easily. Maybe it's Sandaime who gave him the permission to look inside the scroll or talked him about it?

- Learned most Uzumaki fuinjutsus, and even developed some like the hakke fuin based on Uzumaki's shishou fuin or the Shiki fujin(Uzumaki needed a mask to summon him)

And besides that managed to create the ultimate chakra shape manipulation just by observing TBB. I only count here his major accomplishments, so i left some minorities, but how you can't consider him a genius is beyond me when you realise that there are some who even spend their entire life without being capable to create or develop just one technique(they mostly use same techniques already existing without improvement) U_U
