Their attitude is almost the same. They are soooo cocky and arrogant that they don't care for their surroundings/enviroment.
The latest chapter pretty much confirmed it when he said he didn't want to fight a clone. Doesn't that remind you something ? YES ! Vegeta vs Cell ! Vegeta let cell complete his transformation because he was too arogant. Same thing with madara he doesn't give an F about the Juubi atm.
All he wants to do is fight someone strong and THAT is what will probably destroy him at the end.

Nah. Very close but not Vegeta. Madara reminds me of Frieza. If Frieza never stepped it up, was boring, and dsexually confused.

Both Frieza and Madara were lazily throwing our hero's around for awhile. Not bothering to try.

Both of them were cocky and beat around by our protagonists. Frieza then transformed, Madara uses his PS.

Frieza toys with the Z-fighters and goes into his final form against them. Madara just sits around and doesn't do much now. That's where they differ really.

Frieza won't let you live, where as Madara will if he sees you as below him to such an extent. Madara could be considered to have a Vegeta personality. But I'd say he mirrors Frieza or even possibly Perfect Cell more.
