Does Zetsu live to its hype?

I have seen that he can use mokuton easily unlike other characters. He is so full of life force that he becomes a tree when hit by kcm naruto. He can create clones. He can sense chakra. He can transform into anything. What are your thoughts?

There all goo d techniques,but none of those are going to save a zetu's life when it comes down to a striaght brawl on the battle field which is why the zetsu pandemic was at its most dangerous when the zetsu began disguising themselves at the medical base.Other then that,there lesser mokuton wasn't going to stand up to various shinobi and their ninjustu.

Madara never hyped them up to the alliance so i don't see where the hype is coming from.

Did members of the base hype them up ? If so that is hardly something you should go off,since the members of the base didn't write the manga.

Zetsu had hype?
Dude was your above average fodder.
His best thing was being able to travel undetected and transform.
His Mokuton wasnt that great, and his clones werent either, even after upgrading, they were fodder level at best.

I think Zetsu played his role like he should have. I dunno whether he'll return to active action or not.

He was useful throughout the whole thing to Madara and Obito, however he was always cursed to be cannon fodder.

Even black zetsu was weak
