I've noticed that when I'm binge-reading and incorporating a new manga in my mind, my outlook and perception of various things coming to me in life changes. I see the outside world differently. It's kinda like when you see a movie, and it colors your thinking for 2-3 days.
Reading a manga almost allowing yourself a new experience in life, for example: Because I didn't like all the gore and xex in Bleach I stop reading.
I guess it happens with Books too.
But since this is an anime website, and mangas have visuals too(leaning more towards realty) that inputs through your senses more than just thoughts, it triggers actual way how you'd interact in world.
And for me at least, it doesn't happen with anime, I think panels just leaves enough to interpretation while providing some things as fixed to make that connection.
What about you, have you noticed how a particular manga changed your way of not just thinking but how you feel and interact with outside world in everyday life? How you see people and situations differently? What you choose to ignore or respond(something we're 24x7 doing as a part of living) to? The emotions in people, the moment when you enter a situation, your deep seated intention, your desired outcome?
Maybe I just described the experience of reading a manga, and something for which people have been doing it all this time.
Well, whatever, still a better thread among the rest.
