Mostly the females from uchiha clan were engaged on in household works, this maybe because they doesn't possess strong chakra and control on it to awaken sharingan. let's say most of them were like Lee who cannot use chakra.

In all seriousness, Kish generally doesn't feature women in prominent roles anyways, largely because the way many people precieve women, doesn't fit in the aggressivness that penitrates the clan. Hence why Kish produced no promient women, largely because by that perception it would be believed they would lack the drive to risk their lives to earn it, and partly because he believes they lack the drive to make compelling, evil characters. While the latter is conjuncture, the only woman ninja we see on the other side is Konan, and she almost got less screentime then Zetsu. That must indicate that she was of less importence then most members of that gang, at least in a combat role. Just seems thats the values that he often rolls with.

I personally believe that women are becoming more like men in their determination and socially, hence that isn't true anymore, just in regards to the manga, the majority of the importent characters are male and he simply never drew any for that clan.
