This is an interesting topic that i would like to clarify, does tobi (fake madara) have the mangekyo sharingan or a normal sharingan?

Both he and Madara Uchiha have controlled the nine-tailed fox which is one of the mangekyo sharingan's abilities. We have never seen tobi use any other abilities like Amaterasu, Susanoo and the almost unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi but assuming he has controlled the fox he should have these abilities as well.

I wonder if Tobi is going to use the MS on the 8-Tail since the 8-Tail is out as a whole form? Maybe that's what Tobi wanted all along. Who knows though.

You know what? To add to my last post. I wonder if Tobi can use the other 7 Bijuu users's sharingans to add more power to control the 8-Tail, possibly the 9-Tails too. My last wonder. I wonder if the 7 Bijuu users, do there sharingans have MS?

You can usse Normal sharingan to control Fox if you go back to the chapter and look at the foxes eyes it has 3 tomoes its not a MS Design. But i would assume he has it.

I checked this up on naruto wiki and found that in the manga 385 (page 15) you do need the mangekyo sharingan to control the nine tails

the chapter is here

like somebody above me had said, if tobi does have ms he probably hasn't been pushed far enough to use it yet.

But here, tobi takes control of the kyuubi using only a normal sharingan.

Well sauske did read the uchiha tablet and found out you could control the nine-tailes, but he said 'blindness is the price you pay' for the power to control kyuubi during his fight with Itachi.
