It was a different kind of forum. But seeing that some users share the same date as V's account they were probably transferred from the former database.

The way back machine cache shows registration was possible.

I See, yes it seems that way. Never knew there were 2007 members, I remember some members saying they joined 25 april 2008 but no one ever talked about pre-vb until now, Good find.

No one really remembers the date. People just check their profile. Some may not even remember it if they were making some random comment before that. Some older users didn't have an email attached to their accounts. Probably because it was possible to post via FB account or so. ( Not sure but someone mentioned it once).
