So i have this dream to become a mangaka but i´m not good at drawing and find it boring.
I´ve been wanting to become like the guys that made dragonball multiverse and i know i can come up with a good story which i´m working on and have been for some time.
I could find myself a partner that´s good at drawing but how easy is that?

I´m trying to find inspiration from one piece, naruto and dbz and i´ve noticed how simple and proffesional the plot is, Oda for example is a true genius when having made the story about one piece, he never set any standard for how big the world is and therefore can continue to draw those crazy islands like skypiea cuz there is no map showing how big their world is which is actually the dream of Nami, how brilliant of him! That´s one example and i don´t have time to get into kishi and akiras work but what do you think of this?

Maybe i should draw fanfic untill i eventually become good at it and draw my own manga, i don´t plan on making money on it, i just want something to work with and present to others for free.

Well, it's supposedly hard, and you're not in Japan right?
When you feel serious enough about it, you'll need to contact an editor, if you can find any, and finding an artist is probably also hard since the person needs to like what you're doing enough to draw it for you.

Writing fanfiction is a good start, you can get feedback from people already very experienced.

my advice is if you cant draw but you can write then you should write and find someone who can draw but is bad at writing. Comic book people do it all the time the collaberate (sorry shit spelling) all the time i think it makes for an awesome manga/comic/anime /you see what i mean.

That's a good thought, that way those who can draw and write get to do so!xd

LOL this sounds just like Bakuman; its a manga about a boy who wants to become a mangaka but is horrible at drawing but finds someone in his class that is epic at comic and they join up. Anyway just keep chasing your dream and keep writing as much stories as you can think of and maybe someday someone might co-operate with you; Don't give up!xd

Of course i will be original but it seems like you will always have someone calling your work a ripoff.
I´ve seen people talk about narutos rikudo mode is a ripoff of ssj goku, that sasukes character is a ripoff of vegeta so i won´t be effected if someone thinks i´m copying something from another show, i´m taking inspiration and ideas but it will be 60% original in my own way.
You have to look at the best mangas and see what they´re doing and then apply it to your own, as a mangaka, you don´t want your work to be seen as a ripoff so of course you will do your best to avoid it and be original but it happens anyway.

If it's your passion and you have great ideas, then don't let something as illustration stop you. There are so many people that are very good at drawing, so it wouldn't be hard to find one. I wish you good luck with that process and if you are interested in it, do research. That's how I found someone to publish my novel, I just have to finish it first >.> Good luck with that and if you ever do put it out, let me know and I'll read it :)

Im just going to be honest, after I read that I knew that you will give up on that sometime later. People want to be alot but sometimes it just doesn't suit you.

Frankly, I don't find it weird but it's difficult. Don't wanna discourage though as I sincerely believe that though perseverance, mountains can be displaced (not literally but still...:p)

Anyways, it's hard, it's as saying that you love to sing but you have a really bad voice. In short, your chances are not 0% but they are bit low.

Still, if you find writing as something where you'd like to strive, do try even if manga/comic field isn't exactly the field that suits you. If you decided to be script-writer, FF-writer or even novel-writer, it's something that will be easier. You seriously minimize your chances by entering a field where you require 2 diverse talents - writing and drawing.

Anyways, don't give up. the best advice I'll give you is practice your writing skills (through FF is a good idea) and in your passtime, try polish your drawing skills (some art tuition won't be a bad idea :))

I know i´m eventually gonna get tired of it, i don´t like to limit myself but i´m really fascinated by manga even though the way to do it discourages me(the drawing)
