Ginjou is somehow still alive? I know SS has his corpse, and Ichigo wants to bury it, but I noticed something in the manga:

From here, we see a survival report from something Renji brought back, straight from the man itself.

Then, here:

Ichigo mentions getting back Ginjou's body that Renji brought.

I am not that surprised that he may be alive. I think Ginjou serves a greater purpose that to just be the antagonist to bring Ichigo's power back. I think he is involved in something a lot bigger than that. Who was his Shinigami parent? How did he become a Substitute? Did the badge really piss him off that much that he broke ties with Soul Society?

Did anyone else notice this?

Maybe Ichigo's dad was the one who gave Ginjo his shinigami powers. That would explain why he stayed in the human world. He may have placed himself in self-imposed exile after creating the monster that is Ginjo. Then he met Ichigo's mother and settled down. I don't know just an idea.

And yeah i think he is dead. It would have been nice if the fight between Ginjo and Ichi was a little longer just to see his bankai more and see Ginjo's background and why he went rogue.

Umm, I'm a little confused. Ichigo said he wanted to bury Ginjo's body. Doesn't that in itself imply that Ginjo is in fact dead? I'm not sure what you're trying to say here

As for Ginjo playing a bigger part to the story, I agree with that. But he doesn't necessarily have to be alive in order to be important. We may get introduced to new characters who have ties to Ginjo. We may also see flashback chapters of Ginjo when he was a Shinigami.

You're reading it wrong. It's saying the messenger received a survival report from Ichigo who appears on the next page who came from the Senkai Gate. His report is exactly the same as what Renji brought which is Ginjou's corpse.

We know its Ichigo as on page 6 someone announces Ichigo is in good health.
