Does the Sharingan Grant Night Vision?

As the title asks, does the sharingan give the user night vision? I assume yes because Sasuke comments that his eyes see clearly in the dark and the sharingan also glow in the dark. Also, side note, is the Sharingans hypnosis easily broken?

It doesnt give them "night vision" but it does give them the ability to see chakra even at night. So they may be able to see where other people are in the dark but theyd still trip over a badly placed stool.

is only an allusion to Sasuke being able to see things like revenge, hatred, etc.

At this point Sasuke is immersed in evil, and he's stating that he can see the path in front of him.

A "sliver of light" that Gaara is referring to, is hope. So basically, Sasuke is just saying that he can see a life full of hatred ahead of him.

When he Sasuke said he can see clearly in the dark, IT WAS A FIGURE OF SPEACH, consisting that he was now in the darkness and that with his brothers eyes he could see through that "darkness". But other than that i think they probably can see in the dark, but not on a reliable sense.
