Does the Middle East remind you of the Hidden Rain?

Every time someone asks me to explain Naruto to them, I always use analogies of Konoha to the USA.

The more I think about it now, the more it seems like the Middle East is analogous to the Hidden Rain. Like any nation or religion they all have their radicals similar to the Akatsuki and the U.S. has their president, government and response teams aka the US Army/Navy/Air Force/ Black Ops similar to Konoha's Hokage, advisors, shinobi, special ops, and Anbu.

Only an American would assume Konoha is the US. Personally I've always seen that as Kumo's gig - the USA. With Iwa being more akin to Russia, Suna the Middle-East and Konoha like Japan/Asia.

Oh my the rustle is strong in this thread. If anything I sympathize with the Middle East/Hiddeon Rain because of how no one buy the denizens of the respective areas know what it's really like to suffer. Who cares about the usa? May the fourth be with you all.
