Does the Breaker New Waves get better?

I'm currently reading The Breaker New Waves, I'm up to like chapter 37. Currently I'm finding it slow and boring. I was hoping that Shi-woon new how to get his Ki back the whole time, but simply didn't want to. But that doesn't seem to be the case, it's a pain in the ass watching him barely fight people and win, and then doubting himself afterwards since he lost to someone else. Doesn't seem like Shi-woon is developing much and it's getting dull to say the least. So does it get better?

I'd say that from ~ 40-45 chapter it starts to get better (more fights and Sion even used Black heaven and earth technique). Att the latest chapters he started his KI center healing.
