does Storm 3 follow the Manga or the Anime?

I'm kind of confused some people say the game follows the manga and some say NO it follows the manga
but in this video with cc2 mastyuma said that the game follows the manga but yet i some doubts me :flaw:

It will follow the Anime.. BUT release date in japan is ahead of the anime for like 3-4 episodes.. Release date in US exactly at Anime and in Europe a couple of episodes behind the anime..
