by speed I mean foot speed not hand.does it really help? because sasuke couldn't keep up with killer bee or itachi because of hand speed but easily dodged V1 A(faster than bee) foot speed. Also itachi was keeping up with kcm naruto who avoid V2 A speed, so does foot speed help in taijutsu or is it just used mainly for dodging?

Indeed it does. It brings more force in the attack but speed could be used for dodging too

Yes it does..

speed + strength = Power

the more speed you have the more power you can generate

foot speed is very useful for dodging and responding quickly to be able to easily make use of any openings

Oh well; think of it as a kickboxer vs athlete, then think of who wins in a fight and who wins in running race.

You'll get your answer.

Footspeed is required for a close range fighter though; to cover distances easier in order to getting close to the opponent; and dodge the incoming attacks.

so you're saying foot speed is mainly for defense not offense?

Of course it does the faster you are the more you can hit, and the more you can prevent getting hitted

No. Say no to drugs!
Yes speed helps. With damage: force = mass (a) x acceleration (b), increase (b) = increase force, also with movement and dodging and being able to respond quicker.

If you have either speed or strength in taijutsu, it is a huge advantage. However, if you have both, you'll become master in taijutsu I think, look at Lee. If you haven't any of these, you actually can't do taijutsu in my opinion.
