Just because I don't read everyone's answer thougholy you say I'm riding someones... sack.... it's called a short attention span and I went to Fred's post cause he isn't a noob and I knew I wouldn't get an answer like...

What the Sharingan does is slow down movements and see Chakra, Kakashi Uses these to traits to Copy Handseals and Mimic his Chakra with the Opponent so he can Copy there Move and Learn Jutsu Faster. It takes alot of Skill to Do what Kakashi Does with the Sharingan. anyone with the Sharingan can Use this Method. if you remember Kakashi taught the method to Sasuke so he can copy Lee's Taijutsu in the Chunnin Exams. But to be able to do it like Kakashi and Make the Handseals faster then his opponent takes years of training and lots of focus so that's why you Never here about other Uchiha doing it.. U_U

Yup see this is it. It doesn't have an specific ability to copy, it's other abilities just allow for it to be possible to do that.Plus the reason you don't see Uchihas doing it as much is because you need a lot of affinities like Kakashi has 3 but most people only have 1 or 2. Like Sasuke copied Lee's speed/taijutsu but that doesn't require an elemental affinity.
