[Discussion] does sasuke want the fruit?

Sasuke wants to become immortal, the only way he can become fully immortal is by consuming the fruit or become the juubi jinchuriki but since the gedou mazou isnt here so he cannot become the juubi jinchuriki. The only logical explanation is that he is waiting for the fruit to bloom in order to become immortal. But the problem with this is that it would problably turn those in the IT into zetsus.

what do you guys think?
