On a serious note Itachi was secretly a good guy and he intended Sasuke to go back to Konoha as a hero.If Sasuke was to go back after killing Itachi, i doubt he'll even step through the gates since he went to Orochimaru.The ninja alliance sees sasuke as a akatskui member so that makes him even more dangerous than before.

"Deserve"? could you please define deserve? because i remember 2 Hokages "Tobirama and "Danzo" who used the Uchihas and stabbed them in the back....when Obito attacked Konoha the blame was on the Uchihas who didn't know anything and when Madara attacked Konoha with the Kyuubi Tobirama thought more Uchihas would become like Madara which wasn't the case since the Uchihas first betrayed Madara for Hashirama and the Village....if anything Konoha should be lucky none of the other 4 great nations know what they did to the Uchihas.
