Itachi's eyes are just weapons, they were a pair of blind eyes, and only Sasuke could bring the best out of them, exactly how a sword is a useless piece of metal on its own, a good comparsion would be natural energy since it's useless to a shinobi who's incabable of absorbing and using it.
The same cannot be said for the strongest tailed beast with decades worth of battle experience and nearly unlimited supply of chakra.

I think you failed to grasp the meaning of solo. What you said above is handouts but all Sasuke handouts power is not a sentient being so in the length of battle Sasuke fought individually with every opponents using that power. Sasuke utilizing all those power using his skill, knowledge without anyone helping him, giving him an advice etc. If Sasuke fought Naruto along side Aoda, utilizing his snake then you are right to say Sasuke is not soloing but Sasuke clearly fought Naruto alone but Naruto has Kurama help time to time. BM equal Kurama+Naruto against Sasuke's own arsenal.Agreed.
Actually it was, an exhausted Naruto with 0.5 Kurama vs Sasuke, Itachi's eyes, and 8.5 Bijuu.
Clearly Sasuke wasn't soloing if you need handouts.

Sasuke gained quite a bit, including a significant boost in power.
They both handouts if you look at it with no bias.
Naruto is using his own in conjunction with the Kyubi's power, which is an earned power.
The same isn't true in regards to Sasuke and Itachi's eyes.
Perfect Susanoo. Something Sasuke can't use unless he gains EMS. Face it, Sasuke got a significant boost in power thanks to those eyes and what's more is that he didn't even need to train for it. Basically a free handout.

With Kurama mode/body Naruto can use TBB and also FRS but in KCM he can use FRS only bcus he couldnt create TBB with enough power to compete with Sasuke. So he need to summon Kurama body.
Sasuke absorbing Bijuu chakra and gave him more power. But that not means 'helping' but using you power for your advantages.
We are talking about Soloing in the sense of battle and also cooperating in the sense of battle but not power handout or borrowed power. If I summon planets in the battle and use it to crush you that doesnt mean planets are helping me and I not fighting solo. It just I'm using my power.
In that sense, Sasuke fought Naruto alone using all of his power*own and handout' while Naruto had Kurama to assist him time to time beside his own power and handout.

Sasuke solos. Naruto solos. Prime Hiruzen solos. Itachi solos. Damn, even Sakura solos! Everyone solos, it is a solofest where everyone and every base of fans existent or that will exist solos.

I understand where your coming from and get what you're trying to say. I also agree to an extent.
However when Naruto uses BM, he mixes his own chakra w/ Kurama's = one. Naruto is also the one in control of that chakra.
The only time I've seen Kurama giving Naruto advice, is when he's fighting more than one enemy.
In Vote 2, Kurama didn't give Naruto any advice Naruto himself didn't already know. In that sense, it was technically a 1v1.
If people want to nitpick, then remove the 8.5 tailed beasts from the playing field. They are an 'outside source' after all.
There's also the fact that Naruto didn't fight to win nor lose, but to match, giving Sasuke an edge, considering he 'did' fight to win and kill.
