Does Sasuke need EMS?

I mean he has Rinnegan and it's an advanced type. Does he still need EMS? I'm sure if he almost died with MS or perhaps normal Sharingan he'd still get the Rinne from Hagoromo.

Maybe I am wrong, because his Rinnegan has 6 tomoe, which = 2 Sharingans. Maybe thats part of having EMS, two pairs of sharingans.
