Does Sasuke have more affinity with Raiton or Katon?

Sasuke's signature move sure is Chidori, but as an Uchiha he should be more able with Katon.

He is of course one of the greatest masters of Katon (and can manipulate even better than Itachi, Enton).
But in the manga we see him manipulating much more the Raiton, that is, lightning (and btw, much more in the Shippuden).


Does he have more affinity with Raiton than with Katon?

When Kakashi tested him he showed natural raiton so it makes sense that raiton will be his most powerful

Katon is his base element and ration is his secondary element. There is no more affinity than the other.

With the Rinnegan you have a complete affinity for all five. Now if we're talking originally, then both. Being an Uchiha, he automatically had Katon, but as an individual, also with Raiton.

It's the reason he was able to master a C-Rank Katon in a week aged 7/8, and an A-Rank Raiton within a few weeks aged 12/13.

Yea I think his element is lightning, I don't think all Uchihas are automatically affiliated with fire, but he knows it really well since he is an Uchiha and that's like their signature.

I believe Sasuke's predominant use of raiton has more to do with it's flexibility in terms of shape. Enton also carries that same attribute.

When I look at it I think Enton is a result of his katon and lightning affinities, because it's a fire jutsu that can be used like lightning.

It's a natural counter to Mokuton which is a mix of suiton and doton, both of which are opposite of Sasuke's affinities. It plays into the Yin/Yang theme regarding Indra and Ashura's powers.
