Well, She got more mature of course granted that she got older.

But she still has that Part 1 sakura in herself If she still kept that little crush of sasuke throughout the show when They barely ever spoke.

I get that it turned to something stronger but Even Ino who liked Sasuke just as much grew out of the silly crush.

I know manga are not supposed to be compared to real life but if any girl ever said she liked her boyfriend even a little after he tried to kill her then I would think she was crazy and had a troubled childhood and abusive father:yeah:. Sasuke is not even her boyfriend he never showed more interest in her than a friendly acquaintance and she is still in love with this guy after all these years. I don't know if it is bad development show much as bad writing. The same could be said for naruto.

It seems whenever it comes to character development with Sakura she turns into that 13 year old fangirl whenever she's around Sasuke.

But then again all the main females in Naruto are completely badly written I mean half of them have a crush or love Sasuke still and the others are just cliche shy, overly nice big breasted girls.

Sakura does show character development whenever Sasuke is not around.

All she knows is that after he fought Itachi, he went down a dark path. She doesn't know why, but Naruto does.

False. Ino still cares about Sasuke a lot. Shikamaru has stated this in the manga when he talked to Sakura about having to go after Sasuke. That is why Shikamaru was paying attention to Sai and Sakura's conversation in the recent chapter. Shikamaru knows Sakura's feelings and his teammate's feelings. That is why when Ino asked "What happened, Shikamaru?", Shikamaru replied, "Nothing".

OT: Sakura isn't crazy for Sasuke anymore. That silly part of her disappeared when she realized her love for him in the beginning of Part II. As of this moment, we know nothing of her true feelings for him. We can only guess. By the looks of her fake smile, she's conflicted. What we can confirm for sure is that she doesn't trust Sasuke anymore. Also, I should note, when Sai asked about her true feelings for Sasuke, she ignored his question. She didn't answer. Do not jump into your own conclusions so quickly without reading and observing carefully. The only person "wet" for Sasuke is Karin.
From only wanting to impress Sasuke to thinking about Naruto and everyone's safety and actually working hard to do something about it is not poor character development.
