Does Putting your own Username on the title make you an attention seeker?

some people are just jelly that some members are more popular then others.... it racks in more views depending on who you ware for example if you are Dr.Proof or Negative Knight your threads are bound to get views... their threads are also very popular and the users are famous for their good threads. In order to let people know that they are the thread maker they put there name in the title.... some people are just mad U_U

no it's not that at all, it's not that hard to look down slightly to see who made the thread. It's rather annoying after a while. I have nothing against the people who do it, but it's one of those fads that hopefully die soon.

It depends on the thread. For RP threads where battles or training is concerned, it's fine. But for Naruto Discussions (and similar sections), I just don't see why it's necessary. The username of the person making the thread can already be seen by just looking below the thread title. In the Discussions case, you're mostly likely an attention seeker interested in attracting members with the "power" behind your username.

Yeah i get what you mean. I did it on a few occasions but i soon realized it was rather pointless, it was more of an experiment and surprisingly any thread with a name in the title got more replies.

It'll eventually die out, like all the DeathNote threads we had a while ago

I mean it's really how you look at it to be honest.. I don't see what the annoyance in it really is to be honest, as I don't really look that into it when myself or others do such..

I personally put my username in my threads to signify that it's my thread (some people don't look at the bottom name on the thread), and as some people have already said depending on who you are it attracts more attention..

Should really look to much into it, they are just threads.
