Hannnnnn?

How much can this Jutsu absorb before it OD's?

Or does it not have a limit meaning it can absorb IA or TMFRS??

True then again DB is famous for gassing feats. Like COAT's "Universal Comprehension"

Haha yea I know. That's why I put the " :bdpf: " but yea it should be limitless or near it being able to absorb that much chakra and all and Naruto's strongest technique(aside from TBB).

Preta absorbs jutsu at a rate otherwise preta path would instantly absorb a jutus's or all of someone's chakra. If the rate isn't fast enough, the preta path user would only absorb some of the jutsu before their body gets hit with the technique.

As far as the total amount preta can absorb, I don't think there is any, it would be dependant on how much the user's body can handle.

No it wouldn't. The barrier created through Preta is 360 degrees. Let's say a TBB is thrown at Preta. If it hits the barrier and explodes, the barrier wouldn't absorb all of it at once, but none of it would reach the person inside the Preta Barrier because any of the energy that touches the barrier will be absorbed. Ninjutsu cannot pass the barrier under any circumstance, so the barrier would just shield the user until the jutsu fades and stops.

If you're a fan of Naruto then it has a limit. If you're a fan of Sasuke then it has no limit..

If the bolded were true, preta path would absorb a person's chakra instantly, but it never does. If it were true, kaguya would have absorbed naruto and sasuke's chakra instantly, but that's not true.

The barrier actually got bent back when it initially tried to absorb the SM FRS:

Not true. It pulls chakra in gradually, not all at once. If a Preta user grabs a person and starts siphoning in their chakra, and the person did nothing to stop it, the chakra would just keep flowing into the Preta user until the person's chakra is depleted.

When it comes to the barrier, when a jutsu makes contact with the barrier, it's gradually absorbed. One end of the Rasengan hit the barrier, and was gradually absorbed into it. But the entire thing was still absorbed. Same for a TBB. It can't bypass the barrier because anything made of chakra is absorbed into the barrier. A TBB hits the barrier, and its movement is halted and it's slowly sucked into and absorbed by the barrier. It won't happen instantly all at once, but all of the TBB will still be absorbed. If the TBB explodes, the explosion will affect the area around the barrier, but nothing inside of the barrier will be affected because the explosion has to pass through the barrier first, which is impossible because any ounce of the explosion that touches the barrier will be absorbed.

That's just inconsistent portrayal. Also, do you really think SM Naruto's Rasengan was stronger than KCM Naruto's? Naruto himself said he was stronger while using KCM than when he fought Pein.

Why would the explosion be absorbed? At the very least the shockwave generated by the explosion isn't chakra and therefore shouldn't be absorbed.

Also, was it ever stated that it stops he jutsu regardless of the power and absorbs it? If that's the case, that barrier is by far the most powerful defense in the entire manga, even if preta didn't absorb anything that barrier will still stop a jutsu in its tracks regardless of power. That doesn't seem to be likely considering no one above nagato uses it despite having much reason to do so.

That's just inconsistent portrayal. Also, do you really think SM Naruto's Rasengan was stronger than KCM Naruto's? Naruto himself said he was stronger while using KCM than when he fought Pein.
What is your basis for inconsistent portrayal? The FRS is a incomparably more powerful attack than a normal rasengan, nagato's barrier has never been hit by an attack more powerful than FRS, and a much weaker attack (rasengan) doesn't move the barrier at all. We've seen the barrier not move when other attacks hit it, the only one that moves it is the far more powerful one.

It wasn't a SM rasengan, it was a SM FRS, an attack that's far stronger than a SM chou oodama rasengan let alone a normal rasengan. KCM rasengan doesn't hold a candle to that, in fact feats suggests it might actually be weaker than the KCM version.

Isn't the absorbed chakra transferred into it's user? A shinobi body can only take but so much chakra before it explodes. I believe this was made obvious by a certain Naruto Movie, and even a DBZ movie to be honest. A body can absorb as much as it wants, but everything must reach a limit. "Everything has it's limits. Iron ore cannot be educated into gold".

An explosion from the TBB is just the chakra being released all at once.

The barrier has never been shown to fail, nor has any weaknesses been shown for the barrier. Any limitations or weaknesses given to it, aside from only being able to absorb ninjutsu, is just assumption. Also, a person not using something doesn't mean it wouldn't work. Prime example is Kakashi not simply Kamui sniping Kakuzu's head while he was hidden instead of using Raikiri.

What is your basis for inconsistent portrayal? The FRS is a incomparably more powerful attack than a normal rasengan, nagato's barrier has never been hit by an attack more powerful than FRS, and a much weaker attack (rasengan) doesn't move the barrier at all. The absorption of a Rasengan looks different when absorbed by Pein vs Jiraiya, when absorbed by Pein vs Naruto, and when absorbed vs Naruto by Nagato. The barrier more than likely just looks different when absorbing jutsu based on its properties. A normal sized Rasengan doesn't cause any distortion, while a giant Rasengan causes the barrier to distort "upwards" to pull it in, and the barrier distorts horizontally to pull in the horizontally aligned wind blades.

I think this way because FRS had a larger focus of cutting power in comparison to rasengan's general shredding power. Like punching a ball in comparison to slicing it. If you punch a ball, it would absorb the hit, as it is more broad and wide in comparison to the focused sharpness of a blades slice. The friction of FRS was much more sharper and capable of bending PPB (like a sword) than rasengan was, with it's general shredding power (like a punch). Don't get me wrong, rasengan is focused into a single point depending on it's size, but FRZ is more even more focused. Which is why a blade would pierce a ball but a punch won't, or why FRS would bend PPB but rasengan won't. That's without even factoring in the speed of each attack. FRS was also going at a speed highly superior than the rasengan was.

He was making a point about chakra. If the shock wave generated from the explosion isn't chakra, then it shouldn't even be a factor.
