Does Plot Restrictions Ruin Fights??

I thought about it. The last 3 villains were heavily restricted.

It seem like they were forced to either not do something or totally forgot about it just for the MC's to win.

Like Obito for instance. Do you really think it was a coincidence that as a 10 tails jin he couldnt use kamui?? Lololol no it served just to nerf him.

The whole feelings with the nunoboku sword did too.

Then Madara became jin and his whole fighting style change. Wheres preta path? where's ps?

Then Kaguya had it even worse. When she seperated sasuke from team 7 that fight was over. Where's IT??

She could literally have used it at any given time. Most logical conclusion? PLOT. Same with her about to get sealed. Wheres eighty gods vaccum palm lmao? where's yomotsu hirasaka portal above your head to escape? gravity dimension?



I mean if you want narusasuu to win at least make it realistic and logical.

I would say yes, but Sakura's existence forces me to say otherwise. Without plot restrictions, Vote2 would have been interrupted, and any fight involving Sakura would have lasted no time at all. The thought of that disappoints me.

It can detract from fights yes. However, this can kind of be a no win situation. You say that the writers should at least make it logical, but sometimes there is just absolutely no logical way to have the heroes win without some kind of restriction. For me though, I didn't mind it too much with Kaguya. My main gripe was with Madara and Obito (especially Madara). Just look at Madara vs Guy. Kishi literally had Madara stand there and do just about nothing! As you noted, where was PS? Where was mokuton? What about limbo? Genjutsu? Bijuudama? Katon? Madara hardly even attacked!

Itachi Uchiha vs Nagato and Kabuto was a huge nerf. Totsuka No Tsurugi & Yata's Kagami was nowhere to be seen.

I guess that's the problem with The OG naruto series kishi gave each character so many cool and unique abilities it makes you ponder why x character didn't do this and that to win the battle

Yes plot nerf for Madara and Obito ruined it. Even in the last fight, Sasuke could've ended it post IA and TSB Rasen Shuriken clash with a simple chidori current followed by a kill shot. Instead he decided never to use it again let alone when it would've been ideal.

I especially love the Juubito kamui nerf. SO6P Madara used Kamui without any issue lol.
