[Question] Does op ever reference the cover?

Like in the cover right now we're on jimbies adventures. Has there ever been a situation in the manga where they reference that? Like maybe if jimbie runs into the sh he tells them about his adventures or ATLEAST mentions it. Just trying to figure out if the cover stories apply toward cannon

The cover story is like a bonus page for Oda to explain certain things on other characters or relations which he couldn't fit them in along the on-going main plot. Keep in mind the timeline in the cover page may differ a lil' with the current timeline, try not to get confuse. It's canon btw. Since Jinbei's solo adventure is still mysterious, so we have to wait for a bit longer.

Aside that, Oda would draw the cover page upon fans' requests like you've seen before. SH with animals and so on.
