All we know for sure is that kamui drains chakra but We have yet to see it make someone blind... So I assume that it doesn't have the same effect as the other techniques do.. And if you did have eternal then kakashi would have it too.

haha, poor grammer on my part i must say, it doesn't make sense, it's clearly a mangekyo sharingan technique so he should lose the light. I do love Naruto but there are errors. Agreed Kakashi would also have EMS if this was the case. Just an unexplained anomalie i guess.

IMO only the 3 that all double MS have make the user lose their light (Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu and Susano'o)
there are these tech and tech like Kamui and KA which are unique to an eye and don't go blind from using it.
