Wrong, Itachi did not say Susanoo required you to unlock those two powers. He said "The third power along with Amaterasu, and Tsukuyomi which unlocked on that fateful night was... Susanoo. At the moment he awakened MS he unlocked those three powers at once. Madara does not have Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi regardless of what naruto wiki says.

in order for a user to awaken susanoo they have to awaken amat and tsuk

Manga facts and Databook says you need them. If 2 MS was really all needed then why hasn't Uchiha Shisui been clarified as Susanoo user but instead Genjutsu user of KA?.

Manga facts support the need to have 2 MS eyes to unlock their full potential. Madara says this as well as Sasuke during his fight with the Raikage. People who awaken both eyes are granted Susanoo. However, MS abilities vary from person to person or blood/family to blood/family. So MS abilities are special, such as KA. You could say every Uchiha can be a Susanoo user, but not everyone can be a KA user, hence being known for KA.

No because when has anyone ever awakened one MS in one eye and not the other? Even Obito's eyes MS was awakened at the same time in each eye without the eyes even being in the same host body. Izuna had MS eyes as evidenced by Madara gaining EMS from the transplant but Izuna was not confirmed to have Susano'o. The sentence "need 2 MS techs" was specific to the two techs Itachi had. Until the manga actually verifies anything other, the only assumption that has validity is that Ama and Tsuk are needed for Susano'o. Also based on the mythology Kishi used to develop Susano'o Amaterasu and Tsukyomi are relatives of Susano'o further solidifying the idea you need those two to unlock the brother. Ama is sun Tsuk is moon and Susano'o is sea.
