Does Obito even know how to use Rinnegan?

I know Obito has not had it for that long but really man what gives? We all know how powerful the rinnegan is so why has Obito used it so sparingly? Does he just not know how? I mean even Madaras used it for offense! C'mon Obito.

He has loose knowledge on the paths and abilities. He's confident enough to use the human path, though we haven't seem him use it. He can also use the Rinne Tensei, Madara told him how to use it and we can presume Obito told Nagato.

So, sort of. But he knows he isn't experienced enough to use it in combat and win against those who have fought the best rinnegan user shown to us. If he tried to incorporate it into his battle-style it'd end with him reverting back to his old/the one we see, battle style that is.
