Does Naruto really deserve to be Hokage?

Personally i dont think Naruto is mature enough to maintain the welbeing of an entire village, not to mention assign shinobi to missions, orchestrate juunin/chuunin exams, run the shinobi academy, speak on par with the other kages from different villages....

nah.. as much as he is a good warrior.. he still has some growing up to do.

Mentally, i think Shikamaru would be better as he is on par (mentally) with the other kages.

But that title would just be a "drag" for him... D:

If that were true then Shikamaru's father would be Hokage instead of Tsunade, and Jiraya would never have been offered the position.

Agreed, Gaara openly said he wanted to be just like Naruto, he follows the same ideology as Naruto.

He is strong enough and clearly has the will of fire . He is already known and respected in around the shinobi world . However he lacks in general knowledge and ability to coordinate a military ! With a wise and knowledgeble and experienced counsel he could be succesful .

I know threads like this are controversial, but Naruto seems to lack any good leadership qualities. In every way a character like Sasuke is more calm, intelligent and generally less prone to run to the battlefield or involve the village in unnecessary conflicts. Naruto really doesn't seem to have the sort of personality that is well-suited to leadership or politics. Plus the idea of a 16 year old kid leading a village also seems a bit... silly, frankly.

lol sasuke fanboy. yea sasukes more calm and intelligent my arse. how many people have mind raped him itachi, orochimaru, obito, hashirama. tsunade isn't really suited to politics either thats why you have advisers like the elders shizune and shikamarus dad(name slips my mind). the hokage is supose to defend the village name one person better to defend konoha than naruto hes the strongest alive person form konoha
