well it seems that every shinobi has a portion of Yang release (since it's a physical energy which chakra is made of both physical and spiritual enrgy) and Naruto has a large portion of it so he has it, beside it keeps balance between him and Sasuke who uses genjutsu which is yin release :D good question though

That yellow cloak you see around him is a Yang chakra cloak. When he gave life to Yamato's trees was a Yang ability.

There is no real thing as yin release or yang release, though it can be argued that genjutsu is yin release it isnt a nature based jutsu like the other 5. Its more of a form of energy. There is however a 6th element which isnt yin or yang release. Its yin AND yang= yin-yang release. This ability is granted by the rinnegan and thats why jiraiya commented on nagato being able to use the 6th element;

So its fire, wind, lightning, earth, water and yin-yang.

To be knowledge the only yin-yang release i know is the sage's Banbutsu Sozo

To piggy back off of what Blaze said, naruto asks kakashi about shikamaru and chouji's techniques, and yamato's reply is that they should teach him about "yin" and "yang" later here:

As far as I know, those types of techniques aren't elemental releases, just ninjutsu.

Food for thought.
