Does naruto have what it takes to be hokage?

Lol, yeah, Naruto lacks intelligence.. Would you imagine him sitting in a desk organizing files, and planning things out..? No, he is the type to run about and fight. I agree with you guys, he DOES deserve to be hokage, he has worked very hard since the beginning, but I see him of more use as muscle power rather than and organizer of the entire village... That just isnt his style, it would not work.. I mean Jiraya was extremley strong, and he rejected the offer of being hokage, as he knew mentally he wasnt up to for the job, like many of you say, naruto would be of better use as a traveler like jiraya, going on infiltration ranked S missions, and that sort of thing

2. Nara Lu sakura could be next hokage but what has she done? she isnt strong enough and doesnt have the willpower, determination, or emotional stability to be hokage. she would just scream for naruto's help
3. naruto_14 i am not a tsunade hater i think tsunade is one of the best shinobi in the naruto world and i hate how people say she is weak. i was just saying that the elders would treat shikamaru like how they treated tsunade. you should check out the hidan is unbeatable 1vs1 thread because i went off on someone who said tsunade is weak

You're right about Sakura not having done anything...YET...

She is definitely strong enough...she has determination (remember how quickly she went through medical training), but she does lack emotional stability...I think Kishi has plans for Sakura, I see her finally being able to confront Sasuke somewhere in the future (maybe she helps Naruto defeat him??)

Naruto will eventually be hokage once he is mature enough, but as for right now naruto is far from being a hokage, although hes strong as hell and probably would be the strongest kage ever, he still hasnt learned the most important lesson as a hokage and that is sometimes you need to sit back and let others do the fighting while you concentrate on more important things, like leading your village during a battle, instead of just jumping in a fight everytime something goes down, which is the only thing that makes tsunade a better hokage then even jaraiya would have been, her leading skills. Naruto still hasnt learned that yet, if anything if naruto was to become hokage right now he would be more like his father, has the title but has not gotten the full responsibilities as the hokage, he would be preparing for the job while tsunade is still in power, for example how the third was still in power while minato was the fourth.

Agreed...but, you never know...Naruto has always been able to come from behind and surprise everyone...he might just mature a little and become intelligent enough to become hokage.

Naruto just said that to let other forget about Sasuke i think Naruto will try to save sasuke he will it like you give up on him giving up and in chapter 549 Itachi said to Naruto still counting on u to take care of Sasuke and he said that was always my plan


To get back the answer i think Naruto will make excellent Hokage because he understand pain and suffering that war greats hatred and that you need to end the cycle of hatred with understanding each other i bet u that no other character would have changed Nageto like Naruto did so i think he will be good hokage that everyone look up to

as far as strenght is concerned i think that he has suprassed the previous hokages
even his father.
But his maturity is the problem,he is not the most mature character in the series
thats why i believe when the war ends and supposing sasuke will retutrn to konoha
there will be a timeskip to make all the charcters more mature
in my opinion this whwn naruto will become hokage
