Yes Naruto's going to over powered after all he's the star of the show. But not with a rinnegan. that's lame for a hero since he wins over the villain with a TNJ and those tears in his eyes. Rinnegan is only good in the hands of Uchihas who can deactivate it whenever they wants.

what i am trying to say is that, Kishi throughout this manga has hinted of Naruto being the successor of the Sage

now the sage said he will be re-incarnated/second coming of some sorts

the rinnegan devolved into the sharingan, only makes sense for Naruto to hit the sages power, its kinda like when we got the hints obito was tobi, and everyone was making left and right theories, when the hints were all there, same with naruto;s dad

yes there is always the possibility but is it plausible? the way the manga is developing its like he's not gonna get it, and why would he? he can kick any body's butt right now. also nagato did not unlock the rinni after seeing yahiko died....they just activated when he saw his parents die....madara implanted those eyes in nagato so once the rinni is active he can't switch back to regular eyes another example is kakashi can't switch to his regular eye which is why he always has it covered to stop the chakra drain.

I think it was already proven that the sage of 6 path was in fact a Uzumaki. Naruto can awaken the rennigan without having senju DNA. Honestly i think the only reason why i think uchiha/senju need each other DNA to gain this power, is simply because they correspond with each other. I think when it comes to uzumaki being distant relitives of the senju, i strongly believe it means uzumaki was a direct line of the sage, which would only means senju/uchiha's downgraded off Uzumaki. Look at how the hyuuga doujutsu gave birth to sharingan. All i need is kishi to prove me right.

The Sharingan is the superior doujutsu of the two. It was already theorized by Kakashi that the Sharingan gave birth to the Byakugan.

Naruto can still get the Rinnegan because Nagato was an Uzumaki therefore naruto would have the senju DNA

Guys you are forgetting the bijuu chakra in Naruto, Naruto has the chakra of 8 bijuu (Kurama inclusive) missing only to Gyuuki.
Anyway... if Naruto has the chakra of all the tailed beasts, what would happen? since the junction all Bijuus, way the Juubi.
