Does Naruto do a good job making you like the main characters?

In a good story, you're supposed to want the main characters to win. I just watched Bleach where Ichigo turns super hollow mode and kills Ulquiorra I realized that I geninuinely wanted Ichigo to beat him. In Naruto on the other hand, there's many times where I wanted Naruto to lose.

So do you want the Naruto protagonist's to win or not?

Like someone said, everyone has different opinions. For me, I'm the type of person who prefers the antiheroes more, and most of the time they are not the main/title heroes.

I like Naruto as a character and I always root for him, that isn't always the case with Ichigo. Naruto does the job of portraying the message of the manga pretty well, we can all relate to an underdog story so despite his faults as a character he does a good job. It is all down to opinion anyway.

I wouldnt say i hate naruto but i find him very annoying so much so that i try to limit what i watch when naruto is involved. Ive stopped watching all the movies because its the same nonsense

It's difficult to say whether I like Naruto. I liked him before he got really strong, then he started behaving pretty arrogant and that pissed me off sometimes. On the other hand, he recently stopped being a "I'm better than everyone, I'll handle everything on my own" type of guy, and since he started appreciating help from others, I pretty much started liking him again.

I just love to see Naruto overcome each opponent.
especially atm. the teamwork involved is neat to see.

I like a lot of the bad guys on here, but if Naruto wasn't awesome what would be the point of the series.

i like naruto but sometimes he can become selfish and pretty arrogant like saying i'm the only one who can stop the war,i'm the only one who can save that person blah blah.i just do not like the term of him saying "i'm the only one" but itachi corrected him so i hope i won't be hearing those annoying words again.
