Does Madara deserve so much praise?

Taking eyes from fellow Uchiha was/is customary within the Clan. Itachi clearly points out the history how the clan abused Izanagi and created Izanami by figuring out Sharingan's secrets. We know they used to keep spares from the fallen comrades as shown by Madara. Unsure how this is even an argument, when it's a clan central practice.

I disagree with the implied notion that he doesn't deserve praise.

He had Rinnegan when he defeated the Bijuu. When he fought the shinobi alliance, he used lots of Ninjutsu, including Susanoo and Mokuton.

Edo Tensei's do not sweat. And he was not playing once he brought out Perfect Susanoo.

He did not start a war with just his name, OBITO STARTED THAT F*CKING WAR. What is so hard to understand about that?

Let's bring it down a notch. I am all for engaging in a civil discussion on the topic, so please do not go starting fights.

Now, let's break this down, keeping in mind that my argument is for why Madara is worthy and deserving of praise. We will start with the Bijuu. After looking back at the chapters pertaining to him capturing the Bijuu, I was wrong. He did have a Rinnegan eye; I apologize. I would like to counter, however. So let's take a look at the events directly prior to him taking the Bijuu. These are the feats he accomplished completely blind.

Here he is shown to have completely grasped Sage chakra within seconds of using Hashirama's Sage Mode. Another key thing to note here is that he appears to be able to pull Sage Mode while in motion. And while it may be the Hashirama clone imbedded in his chest pulling the Sage Chakra, I would make the argument that it is still Madara in control of the Hashirama DNA, thus it is in fact Madara activating Sage Mode.

Here Madara is showing his exceptional sensory skills by dodging Sasuke's lightning fast speed and swordsmanship, completely blind.

And here Madara shows that his feats surpass any existing Uchiha by activating Susanoo without the need of MS

Next, let's look at Edo Tensei Madara, including his feats [as an Edo Tensei] against the Shinobi Alliance, and against the Kage.

First, I'll address this scan. This scan shows that Madara felt that he was hindered as an Edo Tensei, and that in battle he thrives on the adrenaline and the life or death situations that a real body provides. This being the case, as an Edo Tensei he never took anything seriously - constantly being careless in battle and never really giving a shit about anything as he knew it would make no difference to his health one way or another. In short, as an Edo Tensei he never actually tried.

Now lets go on to look at some of his individual feats as an Edo Tensei - again, establishing that he never actually gave a shit about what was going on as he didn't ever have the "thrill of the fight".

He did use one ninjutsu against the Shinobi Alliance, and that was a Katon. This one Katon however was so great that it took an entire line of Shinobi to counter this one Jutsu.

Moving on, here are some of Madara's feats completely soloing a huge group of Shinobi using nothing but Taijutsu.

This scan shows that Madara not only was one of the few Shinobi ever to tame a Bijuu, but he is the only Shinobi known to force a summoning contract on Kurama.

Moving on to the Kage fight:
This shows that against the Kage, at no point did Madara ever attempt to actually fight them. He is being blatantly obvious to the Kage that he does not consider them worth his time.

As for him pulling out PS, this was more of a demonstration to the Kage to show the vast difference in skill level between them. He was looking for a way to break their spirits completely, and demonstrated his power. On a separate note, it's worth noting that it is claimed that his Susanoo rivals even the Bijuu in power.

And finally, I will settle the "Who actually started the war" argument.

Obito did not start the war. Madara did. To be more specific, Madara's name started a war. Obito was a currier for Madara's name. Had Obito's identity been revealed, no one would have taken the situation as seriously as they did. This is proven with this single scan when Tsunade confirms that the entire world were played for suckers into believing that Madara was personally declaring war and that his very name was feared.

Guy lost every battle with Hashi, even with Kurama, and only become
a major issue once he stole cells from Hashi. After that and awakening
rinnegan every thing else was just taking from others as well.

As we all know he has a tendency to use power from others. He took Izuna's eyes to obtain EMS, controlled Kurama to evenly fight Hashirama, took Hashirama's cells and copied wood release, absorbed chakra from many war shinobi, took Hashiarama's SM, absorbed the bijuus, etc.

In your opinion does this make Madara look more respectable (since it required intelligence and skill to obtain those skills from others) or does it make him more of a hack/cheater (because stealing can be considered as a dirty tactic).

The same Naruto and Sasuke, how many power ups have had?? .-. but with them everything ok.

At least Madara did everything myself lol

Yes, Hashirama was stronger than him and the entire world knew it, in fact, the God of the ninja was Hashirama, not Madara. So?

But this does not mean that Madara was not very powerful and feared. The power ups do not change anything.

i think yall need to reread that part of the manga. what defeated the bijju was limbo and gedo mazo chains and those are from his rinnegan so it was rinngan madara that defeated them, not blind.
blind madara got raped by them all, being played like a ling pong.

OT. yes he does. he soloed all before him before he became jj initially and with ease at that. doesnt matter how he gets the powers, he uses them to good use so they are his. besides without all those powers, he turned sm naruto into fodder twice when he slapped him away while using shunsin, then with his katon later on. and sm naruto is kage lv
