I luv rap, and I see lots of people hating but that's hypocritical. Liking rap in itself doesn't make one cool, but define "cool." U can't cuz "cool" means different things to different people. If u don't like rap, so what? That means u get to talk down about those who do? I think rap is cool, but I don't think I'M cool for liking it. "Cool" is a relative term. I'm "cool" for being who I am no matter what anyone else thinks and that makes anyone cool, being true to themselves regardless what anyone says

And just to clear I listen to good underground rap, not mainstream radio stuff. Plus I rap myself so I like it but as I said, if I'm cool it's for other reasons

Allot of you idiots are saying rap is for "black" people. How ignorant can one be? If rap is for black people, then are you suggesting rock N roll is for "white" people? I hope not, because its an actual fact that rock n roll is a sub genre of the blues, witch was started by blacks you nimrods. Lead Belly=Curt kobain, Muddy Waters=Rolling Stone's, Eric clapton and so on. And lets not mention Chuck Berry who created the song Marty Mcfly sings in the fiftys in the film Back To The Future. The guy backstage even hints that Chuck started rock n roll by saying " you know that sound you was looking for, listen to this" hence the birth of rock N roll. Boom
