Does Kurama Have Amnesia? Or Is Something Else Going On?

How's my favorite community doing?! Just got out of the ban slammer. Been there for 3 months. Yikes. Any new gossip I need to know? Macho still doing his Macho thang?

Anyways, time to get on topic, because I do have one. I might have been banned, but I have kept up on the chapters, and while I have SO many things I'd like to discuss with my best friends EVAR, I'll keep it to this week's chapter alone.

Chapter 670 was one of my favorite chapters of the year (and last year, for that matter), as we are finally GETTING SOMEWHERE. Many hate these "talking chapters", but they're among my favorites when handled well. Answers are given, questions arise... It makes for a good chapter.

What I really want to touch on is this scan, because it bothered me;

It's undeniable that Kurama's power is being used here. But that raises questions.

Was it forcibly taken?

Is he a perfect Jinchuriki and working with Kurama?

Either way, why hasn't Kurama brought it up? It seems rather important, considering it would probably be a massive power boost for Naruto. Or has Kurama simply forgotten? Doubtful. He remembers most of his turbulent life.

Is this Kishimoto just throwing things in for the sake of it, or does it make sense?

Perhaps it ISN'T Kurama's power... Although I think it is. The cloak is a direct match, you can clearly see a fox head, and make out TBB's. I think it's pretty undeniable.

So what do you think? Was Ashura a perfect jin? Was he not? Was he even utilizing Kurama's power?

It's quite different than Naruto's cloak. Ashura's one has 6 arms. And wasn't Kurama "baby" at that time? Like the rest of the Bijuus

It might not have been exclusively Kurama. Look at it, it doesn't really have the fox characteristics

Since he has the sage's body, he was probably able to utilize bijuu chakra in general

all I am saying is that this fight happened before the bijuus were split up. Also Mito was the first jin of kurama. And it is probably onmyunion what he is using.

On topic, I think in that scan, Ashura was fighting with full Kurama, both yin and yang halves were present. Perhaps their memories along with their power are split in half when divided into yin and yang.

Maybe Ashura used Mokuton to control Kurama, or maybe he used tnj + seals like Naruto did.

I can't rightly say where my thoughts about this lie atm. I usually like more to go on before forming an opinion,but it does appear as though kurama is not only within a jin but the jin has much more knowledge of how to use a bijuu's powers.

It's definitely not specifically Kurama!! He could've had chakra as powerful as all the bijuu in general, not a specific one. Don't forget who he is. He has a substantial chakra reserve

If its kurama its only one half because both halves would make it kurama kurama, not a cloak, just like bee and 8 tails

As you can see from this chapter, the sage fought the juubi, sealed it, and THEN had kids. Both of them were most likely born with residual bijuu chakra as well as just being beast because they were hagoromo's kids

it isnt bijuu mode its his own chakra the sennin said it himself. after hard work he awakened his strong chakra which levelled him with his brother. look at the "fox's" face, not exactly a fox. its also standing with what, 4 solid arms not chakra arms which naruto uses.

im pretty sure its his chakra and not kuramas.
