Does izanagi requires senju cells?

Anyone who says this are wrong. Tobi clearly confirmed that in order to use Izanagi, you need Senju and Uchiha DNA.

Most of what people on here are wrong. Yes u can perform inzanagi without senju cells.but to make full use of the thecnique u would need it

Why is it that those Uchiha could not have obtained Senju cells?

Obito said Izanagi cannot be used unless you have both Uchiha and Senju powers; therefore, those Uchiha have Uchiha and Senju powers. You guys are acting as if the Uchiha and Senju hadn't fought and killed one another for generations.

Maybe Obito didn't know cause he could only do so and he had senju cells so he said damn i am badass and only senju cells are required?

That's true but Madara said he would teach obito some uchiha kinjutsu and that involves izanagi and izanami

You need both powers to use Izanagi at all. Danzou's version was incomplete because he failed to control Hashirama's powers properly.
