I have read a few posts about how Kishimoto parallels Uchiha with certain Japanese mythological deities. Sasuke from my understanding represents Amaterasu.
But, if this is true Itachi represents either Tsukuyomi or Susanoo. In my opinion Itachi represents Susanoo.
Susanoo is Amaterasu's brother who shares an eternal rivalry with Amaterasu, he is the one that killed Yamata no Orochi (eight headed serpent), and wields the Totsuka blade (Totsuka no tsurugi).

What do you think?

[ Ohh, a Doflamingo fan O_O  ]

In a way yes, because he was the 1st one to show off susanoo. Even though if you're looking at the timeline, Madara was the 1st to obtain Susanoo.

But indeed, Itachi represents Tsukuyomi. Tbh, i know amaterasu is originally Itachi's special technique but i have to say it suits Sasuke waay more and it could very well be Sasuke's representation.

know itachi represents the crows since that is one of his primary used all the time in anime/manga
madara represents the susanoo since he is the only uchiha that has the full body
sasuke represents amaterasu since its like his most used along with the black flames he created

I think he represents tsukuyomi, because that was known as his best
and most skilled technique

Obito the word kamui actually is spelled kamuy in Japanese folklore. Basically it is a type of heartless God or spirit. Hole in heart=heartless. Anyway Obito is the one that relies on Kamui and he would be useless without it.

Itachi is skilled with a multitude of genjutsus as well as Tsukuyomi, so he represents that.

Madara is very skilled with Susanoo, using it most often than Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu.

Sasuke has developed the Inferno Style kekkai genkai made from Amaterasu.

Obito or Kakashi?

He's the one who has the original Sharingan from Kakashi and he uses Kamui everytime. So he represents that.

Now I'll ask a question as well:

Who represents Kotoamatsukami: Danzo or Shisui?
