Does Itachi have Senju DNA??

Izanagi is one of the forbidden genjutsu of the uchiha clan that is cast on the user instead of others and has the power to alter destiny. The powers of both uchiha and senju were created by sage of the six paths.

Izanami is the other forbidden genjutsu of the uchiha clan that unlike izanagi, has the ability to decide destiny rather than altering it.

According to itachi, izanagi and izanami form a pair. Both izanagi and izanami have the price of blinding the user, causing the jutsu wielding eye to close. Also both izanagi and izanami are classed as kinjutsu.

If izanagi requires both uchiha and senju powers in order to be used, then izanami must also require both the powers of uchiha and senju to be used. Itachi is the only one seen to use izanami which means he could have senju dna in order to use izanami?

No, it's only those who are not Uchiha who need Senju DNA in order to perform these jutsus. Itachi is an Uchiha so this DNA is not required. Izanagi and Izanami are forbidden techniques of the Uchiha clan, it makes no sense for the blood of a senju to be needed in order to perform them. Though merely speculation at this point, it is generally accepted as the most likely scenario.

It speaks as if all uchihas had the capability to use Izanagi whenever.....i doubt that all uchiha had access to senju dna.... the uchiha went as far as to develop a kinjutsu for izanagi if only a few with senju dna could use it they would have not needed to make a kinjutsu to punish the users if there were only a few

You all fail to understand the thread. There many things that are not clearly mentioned in the manga but are instead suggested. This happens to be one of them. You ignorantly stick with your baseless assumptions but you fail to realize it's all plausible.
