OK well! we all know what actually the drama there. They just deceiving/manipulating Mitsuki's naiveness and mind the whole time.

But I think all those words speak out by Orochimaru and Adult Mitsuki was somekind of foreshadowing of future Villain(Boruto facing right now). Perfect synthetic human. It had hidden meaning behind it.

Here Oro said: "I will create even better siblings for you to play with.

It sounds like nothing, just someone that want to give his child a companion but from other POV it was actually the talking about Kawaki(a foreshadow)

It remind me to Android and Cell saga. Kawaki he was Cell and other Mitsukis were Androids. Not that I said/implied/tried to imply that Kawaki absorbing Mitsukis but he maybe having a connection with them and Oro.

To sum it up,

Orochimaru was like Dr. Gero of NV. He created many clones, synthetic humans and modifying human body to suit his need or desire. Kawaki can possibly be one of it. The future creation of Oro.

And for Kawaki, he turned to be a bad guy at one point of time maybe because something he desire I guess. Like Cell he purpose is to destroy Goku. But Kawaki created his own purpose.

When we speak about Oro, anything can happen. He act as a factory for something like this. Who created Shin clones with Sharingan?, Oro. When it come to Oro, author can used him to override/disobey anything that was a fact before.
