Does it mean Itachi could still be "alive" until the Naruto series end?

Hi One question. After Itachi got revived and was controlled by Kabuto, he used Shisui's eye to not be controlled anymore and move on his own. Litterally, Itachi is dead now, but he still is revived, but uncontrolled. Does it mean he could "live" just like a normal person until the end of the Naruto series? :? I mean what if Kabuto won't get killed in a long while?
Pls give some reasons too :y

No he will die after it edo tensei is done. He already having had his Brother talk ones edo tensei is done he will dissapear too

It is possible for him to live on, and any edo under the circumstances of the jutsu either not being cancelled the caster being killed. Other then these two, and some special cases (e.g. Itachi)

But I don't think Itachi is going to want to stay alive, never mind most of the shinobi world.

Nah edo tensei is going to be cancelled and while Itachi isn't being controlled any more his soul is only bound to the realm of the living by edo tensei so he will disapear soon

I'm not really sure but I don't feel like Kabuto will die during this war... If that's the case and that Itachi is still alive, I really wonder what he would do..
It would be awesome if he would stay with Sasuke or something... REALLY HOPE THAT HAPPENS MAAAN!!

he only has his own and free will for now... if kabuto could capture itachi than kabuto can reuse itachi also itachi is an edo so he will die if ET is released

I don't want itachi to disappear ... but its inevitable unless Kishi wants to contradict the theories on edo tensei that is! He is practically already giving sasuke the live your life to the fullest and don't screw up coz i won't be there for you anymore - again- talk!

it looks like itachi is gonna disappear but i get the impression that sasuke wont kill kabuto who later will revive itachi again and sasuke will do some very cool jutsu like nagato did and make itachi alive again. sasuke will break down when itachi disappears and will go fight naruto. but then kabuto finds his true self and revives itachi. i really hope there's a twist but it looks like itachi wont be alive anymore, and he's been dead for too long, not like gaara or the konoha people who were revived right after they had died
