Does it count as a win if you die during the fight?

simple question. What do you guys think? I'm being general on purpose. That way your free to take it how you want according to your own opinion. Which is ultimately what I'm asking for.

no if you both die it would be a draw at best i mean how can you claim a victory when he killed yuou also then he could also claim the win so i dont think you can count it as a win imo

Like if reaper death seal is used and both people die... Or both people kill each other like the second tsuchi and the second mizu... Then it is considered a tie

If i die self destructing. Or like going 8th gates. Then its a win but also a lost

I suppose it would depend on what you were after. If your death kept you from doing or achieving something, then it's a loss. If your only goal was to defeat them, then I'd say it's a win.

if someone is so strong they have to suicide you to win then its still a draw

You can't win if you die during the fight. But if that particular fight was over before that - yeah.

For example Minato- defeated Tobi in that particular battle. He however died while sealing Kurama later on. He did so as a startegy for the future battle not for the one he had just won already.

Anyay it is very subjective question.

Personally I think it depends on if the goal you were trying accomplish when you stepped in the fight. If you goal met then yes. If not then no.
