Does Destiny have Boruto as a VILLAIN?

Seems like Boruto and his dark destiny is all the rage with Ootsutski fortune tellers.


At first Momo and Toneri's words sound like polar opposites.

Once Momo dies the cogs start turning.

But as we get more and more info on the Jougan and Boruto's fate it seems like Toneri's hope is Boruto actually changing his destiny.

As you see above, Toneri was clearly holding back Momo and co from entering earth. Seeing as Toneri can too read the future in a sense, he likely sees some dark destiny with Boruto and tried to prevent/hold it back until he is ready.


But he couldn't

So if Boruto just follows his Destiny like Naruto and Sasuke did then he will become a villain or threat of some sort, but if he breaks through it... With his one Jougan eye compared to Momo stating eyes, then he can maybe be something else.

Basically the Jougan is Boruto's only card against preventing whatever destiny wants him to become

Note that Momo said "Eyes" plural while Toneri in this weeks episode was spouting about how destiny hasn't changed and prior to that he told Boruto that his "Eye" singular, is the star of hope against darkness.

No one knew what that darkness is or was but what if it was Boruto himself.


Boruto's own enemy is himself, dun dun DUN.

Honestly, i would like to see Boruto go rogue, it would be a nice change up in the series for the main character being "the bad guy".

Considering Boruto's curse mark and Momoshiki's warning, there's a chance that darkness attaches itself to Boruto.

I bet the final arc will be a redemption one.

I was thinking of it as a barrier on the moon that prevents Ootsutski from entering Earth but now that I look at it

what if Toneri had a Barrier around the whole planet.

If true, what a feat and to hold it for so long.

We'll see what happens after Kawaki gets introduced.
