[Discussion] Does Destiny degrade Naruto's Character?

Does Destiny degrade Naruto's character? Many people have argued in the past that Naruto having the nine tails has degraded his character. But know with this revelation that Naruto is in essence this generations Ashura does that take away even more from the original Naruto character many fell in love with? What I mean by this is many fell in love with the underdog aspect of Naruto's character that whole idea that hard work will surpass genetics or genius in the long run. But with this revelation that he had Ashura with him all along does it take away that underdog aspect of his character? I understand when comparing him or talking about a fight between him and Sasuke even with Ashura the underdog thing works. Because of the fact Sasuke will most likely be Indra. But when you compare him to almost anyone else in the story that doesn't imply anymore.

So does Destiny degrade Naruto in your eyes?

It does degrade his character in my eyes. And it even degrades Sasukes character, he isn't a genius on his own now, he was influenced by Indra apparently.

Naruto being Ashura's reincarnation recreates what a lot of people admired about Naruto, his hard-working ethic.

If you think about it, people did jump on the idea of him being Hagoromo's reincarnation too quickly and easily. After all, a few lumps of sentient chakra saying it is hardly a fact.

But I expect him and Sasuke to be stronger than their "ghosts" , to reverse that effect.

He is a underdog when compared to Sasuke,Madara and 1st kage but when compared to others he far outclasses them and its always been his destiny to do so.

-People forget he was born with amazing chakra ,amazing stamina and a great body in general.

-He got to keep trying and trying after failure because his body would never give in.Thats something Lee, Neji, shikamaru(etc) don't have the benefit to have.

Hard work/strong will and the body of a god shinobi....yeah he was blessed.
