That is disturbing but it is actually supported by the Headless chicken incident ..... At my place there was a execution that is meant to inflict pain, its called 'Sule chorano' that makes the criminal sit one spear that is erected on the ground and it basically goes through the posterior and ejects where it feels to eject and he/she remains like that till he/she dies.

Wow man cool, I should give that a word.

The font gave me cancer.
Yeah, I'm happy for you. Well anyways I made it better, by a tad, I don't even know what's wrong with it, moreover non contributive post aimed for criticism towards the use of a certain font, gotta say I'm impressed.

Put simply, sometimes.

It's all down to chance, most of the time, the beheaded will go almost straight into a coma but on occasion, left over oxygen in the brain can remain for a few seconds, keeping them alive with exposed, cut nerves which send signals back to the brain telling it of the situation causing a great deal of unutterable pain for a short amount of time.

In short, you don't feel anything if and only if the first beheading is successful, in other words, if you remain alive, the pain is on a different plane to the mundane pain we moan over, but anyway a fun fact, most beheadings where not successful during their first try-meaning the sharp metal blade had to come down multiple times.

Maybe for an very short while, but its like when a person is on fire they burn and feel pain but only for a short while as they pass out from the shock of being on , its too much for the brain to handle, too much sensory input.
